The principle of skin needling, or Collagen Induction Therapy, is to stimulate the body’s own production of collagen. It involves using a sterile roller comprised of a series of fine, sharp needles to puncture the skin. The device is "rolled" over the surface of the face to create many microscopic channels deep into the dermis of the skin, which stimulate your own body to produce new collagen.

This increase in natural collagen results in the skin tightening, less lines and wrinkles and a softening and reduction in scarring. The skin also becomes thicker.

An anaesthetic is used to reduce discomfort which can range from a topic anaesthetic cream to a local anaesthetic depending on the needs of the patient.
